Finistère - a ramblers paradise
The north of Finistère is a paradise for hiking. The region offers hikers magnificent, wild and varied landscapes. A unique coastline, river estuaries, mountainous areas and deep forests entice you to explore.
The highlight is the coastal path GR34. The section from Terenez to Saint-Jean-du-Doigt and from Saint-Jean-du-Doigt to Saint-Michèl-en-Greve is one of the most beautiful and wildest sections of the GR34. The "custom officers path" or the „Saints´Shore Way“ leads along the pink granite boulders, rocky cliffs and wide beaches, keeping the Îles de Batz in the west and the Île-Grande in the east in view.
